Downeast Cider Original Blend
Original Blend by Downeast Cider House is my favorite local cider here in Boston. Unlike other hard ciders out there, I love how this one is unfiltered and really tastes like fresh cider you’d have while picking apples on the farm. It’s damn good! Summer might be gone but cider season is here, so go grab some!
Scurry is a dark honey ale brewed by Off Color Brewing from Chicago, IL. Honey, molasses, and flaked oats are the key to this beer’s soul. I loved this beer the minute I poured it. The inviting aroma is accompanied by a perfectly sweet & roasty flavor from start to finish. Off Color Brewing is quickly becoming one of my new favorites for both their beer and graphical style.
You can now find this beer at Craft Beer Cellar, yum yum!
Hop Rising is a Double IPA brewed by Squatters Craft Beers out of Salt Lake City, Utah. It’s a malty, hoppy, and strong beer coming in at 9%. I wish hops were as large as this in real life. (Plot twist: Or maybe that is a tiny man harvesting accurately sized hops!)
Cahoots is a Double Rye IPA and is part of the Crooked Line by Uinta Brewing Company out of Salt Lake City, Utah. I absolutely love their Detour IPA so when I saw this new beer on the shelf I thought, “who wouldn’t want to drink beer with a couple owls?” I’m glad to say that it didn’t disappoint!
